Human~God by Soumyadip Mukherjee
God did not create us, it is our beliefs that created them...two pilgrims bow down before a triyugi narayan temple pandit begging for his blessings, it is said that at triyugi narayan the marriage of SHIV and PARVATi took place....

Aguner poroshmoni by Soumyadip Mukherjee
Its not the warmth of the fire which is being distributed...it is the warmth of the feeling that one feels, on believing that god is there to look after them in the form of fire...on the sacred banks of Haridwar. Hindu People and the believers of Hinduism from all over the world gather toghter to take the blessing of their god through the warmth of the fire...

Miles to go before I sleep by Soumyadip Mukherjee
Whose waters these are I think I know.
His house is in the glaciers, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his waters fill up with snow.
My little legs must think it queer
To stop without a rest house near
Between the waters and the old rocks
The milder evening of the year.
He gives his aching muscles a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound that sweep
Of the easy wind & birds in their nest.
The waters are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
This was a wonderfull poem by Robert frost (Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening)which i editted to express the feeling when i took the photograph....the original poem is hyperlinked to the bracketed text above...
Where the Bold meets the Beautiful by Soumyadip Mukherjee
The Murky turbulent waters of Bhagirathi, meets the calm and beautiful waters of Alakananda to form the sacred one called Ganga, at Devaprayag/ uttarakhand/ India
Want to create your own website, and you do not have any software at your disposal??
Then try http://www.wix.com/ its absolutely free, you can create mind blowing stuff with the online flash website designer. you have the freedom to do anything to your site, you can create your own template, or you can edit an existing one...only thing is that its not an add free website...but you'll sure be able to get some personal satisfaction by designing your web site there, its also good for photographers to publicize their pics, and harden their hands only to later move on to http://www.photobiz.com/ Its 125 one time fee then $15 a month for up to 200 photos. To me it was well worth it. For someone on a limited budget I would recommend building a wix site for free, but dont get too complicated. Use it to display some of your best work and make it clear that its just a temporary website. The more pictures you put up the slower it gets, and believe me you will get more complaints about the speed then compliments on your pictures. Good luck to ya!

A fog of hope-by Soumyadip Mukherjee
The foot hills of Kedar...the locals on their way to the horse station leaving the fog of the winter behind on the first day of reopening of kedar-nath for a much awaiting a summer which will bring both tourists & pilgrims. These two words to the locals are synonymous to Rupees & Paise.......
After reading a lot of negatives, I still bought the camera as it has one of the longest zooms on the market and a lot of manual controls not available on other cameras. Thus, if you know what you are doing, you can control image quality BUT you need to read the manual first as a lot of the controls are not in the same place as previous Power Shots and there are some new features which aren't immedaiatley clear.
Battery life - I charged the battery each day before I went out (Dubai for 6 days) and never had any problems. It never even showed less than 100% the whole time and I use a lot of fill in flash.
Flash location. Nobody has really explained that when the flash pops up, there is a cover flap that also raises and you need to take your finger off that flap when powering down. BUT when you see it, understand it, you avoid it. I don not have very large hands and none of the issues reported in some other reviews affected me.
Size/weight - it never bothered me. At the same time and the weight difference is marginal and the size is not that big and you are getting a 12 X zoom.
I do think a tripod is going to be useful in low light and I do appreciate the ISO 1600 and settings avaialble so you can avoid flash.
CNET UK judgement:
On paper, the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS looks great. In the flesh, it's a disappointment. It's bulky, has annoying design and control issues, and the picture quality is variable. It's still a versatile camera that can be used to take great pictures, but it promises much more than it delivers
Living off the edge!!! there are lots of automobile ads these days urging one to live of the edge. we try to live off the edge to experience thrill, to feel the pulse increasing with pulsating pace, to show off our heroism and later brag about it...but this little creature here, why is he living of the edge? the answer, is simple it is living of the edge in order to live, to survive. And the fun fact? i recently saw a show at NAT GEO where i learned that ants can navigate in air. no they cant fly, but if you drop an ant from the tree top it will navigate through the air in order to land on the bark of the tree instead of the ground. I dont know how they do it, its sort of like sky diving i guess...
